Pat Souke and Shirley Hanlon founded New England Medical Fitting in 1989. We are certified medical fitters who have worked with hundreds of clients to help them make informed choices and provide the proper fit for the required products. We initially opened New England Medical Fitting to better serve women after breast surgery. The business has since grown to include fitting for compression stockings and sleeves, and most recently wigs and related oncology products.
When we opened New England Medical Fitting we did so because there was really no place offering women an appropriate setting for post breast surgery fitting. Our feeling was, "If this happened to one of us, what would make the fitting experience most comfortable?" That prompted us to create a private comfortable atmosphere to accommodate our clients' needs. We are most proud of the way our facility has grown and evolved over the years.
